NAIROBI - President Obama's grandmother, Sarah Obama, is home recovering at her home in western Kenya after an accident that, judging by the condition of the vehicle, could have been much worse.

"God is with me, because if you could have seen the wreckage that we came out of safe, one would wonder," Sarah Obama said Monday.

Police in the town of Kisumu say the 91-year-old was traveling to her home in the village of Kogelo Saturday night when the driver lost control, and the vehicle rolled into a ditch.

All five people in the car, including her two bodyguards, were taken to a hospital for treatment. All were released with minor injuries.

A hospital spokesperson says Sarah Obama was bruised and in shock when she arrived at the hospital. She was released about two hours later.

"You can see I was not injured save for this small scar on my right hand and I am not even using a walking stick," Obama said.

She said friends from as far away as the United States and the Middle East have been calling to check on her, but she assures them, "Hakuna tabu!" That means 'no problem' in Swahili.

Sarah Obama is the step-mother of President Obama's Kenyan father. She has been to the U.S. a few times, and the President has been to the village to visit with her and other relatives three times. In his memoir, "Dream from my Father," Obama called her "Granny."

Letter #3 -- This letter was sent to the Portland Oregonian, however, that paper never published the letter or even discussed the letter in their newspaper. In fact, the Oregonian editors even denied the existence of the letter as did the FBI. The letter did exist and was a cut and paste letter that was mailed to the newspaper from somewhere in Portland with a cancellation date stamped Wednesday, December 1, 1971. The whereabouts of this letter are unknown (although I have seen the envelope to this letter). The letter reads, "Am alive and doing well in home town P.O. The system that beats the system. D.B. Cooper."

My analysis: The letter writer is going back to the original scene of the crime, Portland, and will now thoroughly confuse his pursuers - the FBI. I recently received mysterious e-mails from a person named "Al." He is helping me analyze the Oregonian letter and he claims that this letter was cut from the June and July 1970 issues of Playboy magazine. He used a special "colorization" process to support this assertion. It is one that I examined closely, and he is right. The phrase, "the system that beats the system" was taken from an advertisement in Playboy concerning a particular stereo system manufacturer.

"Al" won't reveal his true identity to me, but I've often wondered if he is a retired FBI agent from the Portland area. And, my research shows that Playboy and its publisher, Hugh Hefner, were the target of a huge FBI file. J. Edgar Hoover thought that Hefner and Playboy were subversive to the American lifestyle and needed to be investigated. Maybe D. B. cooper knew something about this. Gossett was a HUGE fan of Playboy and subscribed for years.

Letter #4 -- This was the last letter and sent again to the Reno Evening Gazette. It was not published, but the newspaper did make mention of it in their Friday, December 3, 1971 edition. It was cut and paste: "Plan ahead for retirement income. D.B. Cooper." The whereabouts of this letter are unknown, but I've heard the FBI took possession of it.

Analysis of all letters: D.B. Cooper got away unscathed on the night of Wednesday, November 24, 1971 and proceeded down to California while his pursuers were looking for him about 35 miles to the north of his actual parachute landing zone. He sent the first letter to let the world know that he was alive. Next, he traveled to Canada with the money and wrote again. I think he took the bus. He left Canada (by bus) and cruised back down to Portland to wave at the FBI who was looking for him 35 miles to the north of Portland. He mailed #3 from the Portland area to further confuse law enforcement. At this point, he's having too much fun. Then he went back down towards Sacramento, CA and sent the final letter, letting everyone know that he was now set for retirement. Gossett would have returned back to the Salt Lake City area and not have sent out any letters from there for fear of being caught.

D.B. COOPER 2 OF 4 LETTERS

Letter #2 -- It was handprinted and mailed from Vancouver, BC Canada to the Vancouver Province editor's office. The Province published the letter on Wednesday, December 1, 1971, but the postage date was Tuesday, November 30, 1971. The letter was taken by the Vancouver Police Department and never seen again."The composite drawing on Page 3 as suspected by FBI does not represent the truth. I enjoyed the Grey Cup game. Am leaving Vancouver now. Thanks for your hospitality. D.B. Cooper"

The Grey Cup game is the Canadian's version of the Superbowl and was played on Sunday, November 28, 1971 in Vancouver. The hijacker first saw the FBI's sketch of himself in the Monday, November 29, 1971 newspaper, and apparently didn't like the drawing by the FBI. The words, "thanks for the hospitality" appeared again in a letter that was sent in Vancouver, BC, a long ways from Reno, Nevada. This is the same author of both letters, a man on the run and taunting the FBI. Gossett liked football, he liked Canada, and he used the phrase "thanks for your hospitality" often.

D.B.COOPER 1 OF 4 LETTERS

letters allegedly sent by D.B. Cooper after his infamous heist. Four D.B. Cooper letters all surfaced within one week after America's most celebrated, unsolved air hijacking. All four letters were sent to major newspapers, not to the FBI. The sequence and timing of the letters is very important, as they show the "escape route" of D.B. Cooper. They also show a "connection" to our suspect, Bill Gossett."

Letter #1 -- It was sent out from Oakdale, CA on Saturday, November 27, 1971. It reached the Reno Evening Gazette on Monday, November 29, 1971 and was immediately published on page 1 of that evening edition. It reads, "Attention! Thanks for the Hospitality. Was in a rut. D.B. Cooper." It was a cut and paste letter.

It was determined within two days that the letter's words and phrases came from the Friday, November 26, 1971 edition of the Modesto Bee newspaper. Bill Gossett lived in Merced, CA for many years prior to 1971 and his first family was eating T-Giving dinner in Merced the night after Cooper hijacked Northwest Airlines Flight #305. Merced is about 20 miles from Oakdale, CA. The FBI took possession of this letter and it has never been seen since.

I hand paint Ouija boards on wood from a 150-year-old walnut tree that fell down at my in-laws house. I thought this board was quite amazing, as there are faces in the wood. I had two boards like this, one being the mirror image of this board, where they used to be joined before they were cut lengthwise. I love your show and thought I would share this. I continue to look for more wood with faces in it. It is a very creepy feeling you get when you try using this board!

My wife is Kamlesh Kaur who I love for more than four years and her three children Poonam Parveen and Gangadeep . On or about December 2008 the USCIS office, cleared and approved my fiancé petition sent to New Hampshire office with case number
and gave me and Kamlesh Kaur and her three children an interview date on January 27 2009.
I appeared at the window of an officer who asked me to take an oath, which I did then the officer called me a liar yelled at me and threaten me. I told him my love for Kamlesh was real and my relationship was genuine I brought proof and the officer refused to look at the photo's and letters and cards.
I was not aware that the officer could do my thinking for me and I do not believe it is his business to make personal opinions of an American man who wants to marry an Indian woman that is my business. This relationship is real and honest, and continues. Love knows no color no race we (Kamlesh and I understand each other and accept each other cultures)
I thought one was innocent to proven guilty?
This is why people come to America for the freedom to choose and I have chosen this woman to be my wife and help raise her three children and to give them a better future.
The officer told me he wanted more documents and gave us one year to collect which we collected and documents were filed and accepted in good faith with fees paid to the VFS office. Then for more than three months I wait in pain and I sent many emails to Embassy to get status of my case.
The answer was always the same "Pending Administration processing under 221(g). I contacted our congresswomen Ms. Woolsey and provided her office all the proof of my genuine relationship and their office contact the Embassy
Now I am told that the case is closed and is sent back to the USCIS office for review due to an expired fiancé petition. This is a very important document why did your office fail to tell us this after the fact and the officer, who threatened me but did not advise me that this document was going to expire soon so we could have renewed that petition.

To me it appears that the staff at US Embassy is indifferent to the plights of US citizens and careless as to US Citizen's rights under the Constitution were it is says "Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness" for all people foreign and domestic, even though these officers took an oath to uphold the Constitution. All I am asking you at this time is to give me the actual reasons for denial and not the vague allegation, which is not even true.
For Kamlesh and her children's future will be the best with me .I have lost a lot of time at your office I have seen others get visa's with the same facts as me why are you being hard on me Kamlesh and the children ? Or is this selective discrimination?
Ours is a genuine case and I am planning to marry her and file new petition . Hope you understand my situation, please let me know ASAP.

I took many photos with a 4 MP digital camera, I was astonished to see this "Fuzzy" apparition appearing at the opening of one of the patient rooms. The tour guide had explained that the engineer for construction had designed the building so that two beams of light from opposite sides of the building would create an “X” in the center of the floor. This “X” over time would indicate that the building remained level. If one beam became longer than the other, that would indicate and out of plumb condition. Very ingenious! I was only attempting to photograph this “X” without using the flash.
When I uploaded my pictures to my PC at home, I was astonished to see the apparition in the distance on the right hand side of the frame. Looking as if it were entering the door. Note that the door jam is obscured by the apparition! The weather that day was very nice with no wind. This could have not been dust being stirred. Not a breeze was blowing! Three seconds later I took a second picture with flash. You can see the result! It is more interesting to shift rapidly between the photos. Now you see it far away and then up close? It is not at the door jam in the flash photo. In either case I have no idea what this might have been. I have always heard that digital cameras do not lie. I DID not photoshop this image!

An Atlanta woman says she was mistakenly imprisoned for 53 days because police confused her for someone else with the same first name.

Teresa Culpepper says she called police to report that her truck had been stolen in August. But when they showed up at her home, they arrested her for aggravated assault committed by another Teresa.

"All she has is the same first name. The only descriptions that match are 'Teresa' and 'black female,'" Culpepper's attorney, Ashleigh Merchant told The Lookout. Culpepper, who is 47, didn't have the same address, birth date, height, or weight as the Teresa who was supposed to be arrested.

Merchant says Culpepper, who was legitimately convicted of a misdemeanor in the 90s but otherwise has no criminal record, lives in a rough neighborhood where police are frequently on patrol. She and her family were unable to post the $12,000 bond to get her out of jail, so she wasn't released until her public defender found the victim of the assault and brought him to the court to say Culpepper was not the "Teresa" he had accused.

"I just don't think in another side of town this would have ever happened," Merchant says. She says the city must settle with Culpepper or face a lawsuit, and added that the police department is investigating the incident.

Once long ago in the vast lands of the desert there was a great and vast river that had to be crossed for animals to seek food and water elsewhere in the desert. As it was on this day Fox had come to the point where it had to cross the river in its travels. As it stood contemplating the best way to cross the river safely Fox's life long enemy Scorpion came upon it and began to talk to Fox.
"Fox as I was walking along the river bank looking for food I noticed a particularily easy place to cross the river where the water is not so deep and not so swift. Here is a slightly condensed version of Harry's Cover Article from the Napa Sentinel 25 Questions that have not been answered in Richard Allen Davis trial.
The purpose of the article was not to answer any questions ... but to combine questions asked by Frank Spierling, author of "Who Killed Polly Klaas ?", with questions asked by the family, the news media, and law enforcement. According to the article, none of these questions have been answered at the trial:

Under the California Law Enforcement Teletype System and the National Crime Information Center, any person on parole for felony convictions is listed. When Richard Allen Davis was questioned on Pythian Road and a check was run on him, the claim is that no information was printed out on any warrants or his priors or his parole status. How is this possible ?
Davis was drinking beer and driving a vehicle in the presence of officers, he also claimed he was sightseeing in the pitch dark when accused of trespassing. An officer admitted leaving this information out of his report on Davis. Why no citation or arrest or further questioning ?
What was the motive for Polly's kidnapping and why did Davis ask "Who lives here?"
Who was the man seen on the back porch of Polly's house talking to Richard Allen Davis just prior to the kidnapping?
Why did 18 F.B.I. officers show up at the scene within five hours of the kidnapping when the policy generally is that they will not enter the case until after 24 hours and usually with one or two agents only ?
Why did Davis say to the three girls in Polly['s house that "no one else was supposed to be there" especially Polly's mother ? Polly's mother was originally scheduled to be at her business that night.
Why were pretrial hearings closed to the Press, the public and the family ?
Why didn't the family identify Polly's body ?
Davis claims he took Polly at random. Why would he care which girl "lives here" ?
If, on the following morning, it struck Dana Jaffe ( as stated on Prime time Live ) and her neighbor, Bill Rivas, that Davis might have been the kidnapper, why didn't it occur to deputies Rankin and Howard, the two deputies who pulled Davis over that night ?
Why has Polly's family from the beginning believed Davis did not work alone?
What did Judge Dale mean when he said, " This case leaves many gnawing questions. Among them are when and how Polly died and whether she was still alive when two Sheriff's deputies questioned Davis shortly after the kidnapping" ?
Why does Polly's father and grandfather believe Polly was handed over to someone else prior to the time Davis was discovered trespassing near Oakmont ?
Was Polly transferred to a blue van and flowin into Angwin ?
Why was Davis not arrested earlier when law enforcement officials knew about his whereabouts for almost a month or more ?
And what ties exist between the 1994 kidnapping of Katie Romanek and the 1993 kidnapping of Polly Klaas ? The kidnappings had similarities - both girls were taken from their home, both victims were the same age, both crimes involved ex-convicts with long criminal records and both suspects were described as having heavily tattooed arms. And both kidnappers asked "Who lives here ?" and neither left any ransom note.
Why did Davis' first public defender claim the body was planted and expert testimony was given that the corpse would not have decomposed so quickly at the temperature of the site ?
Why did the Coroner not perform the autopsy until a Federal expert, who had been in Bosnia, return to do the autopsy ?
How were dental records checked on the body when the jaw bone was missing and part of the skull was missing ?
Why were the entrails of the corpse missing ?
If Davis confessed to strangling Polly why was the body so badly mutilated ?
Polly was in Napa a month prior to her kidnapping ? Davis was identified by residents of G Street near Jefferson a month prior to Polly's kidnaping allegedly stalking Napa High School students but at the same time Polly was in Napa.
Why did Polly's step father call the Napa Sentinel ( which had not published any articles at the time ) and ask if Polly might be held in Angwin ?
And what or who is Midnight Sterling in the San Diego area ?
Why didn't the authorities ever acknowledge that there might have been an accomplice ? The tenant in the back of the Klaas house gave a description of a clean-shaven man peering into the back door ?

Evening of May 6, 2011. I was with some friends in the Cross Roads District of Kansas City, Seeing the contrails in the sky I commented, look "we're in the cross roads and there's cross roads above us!" The funny thing is we all looked up and never saw or even heard anything at all, no UFO or any other lights in the sky out of the ordinary... when we got home later that night I downloaded the pics I took on my iPhone and this is what I found...

This past Saturday, a guest came to the front desk to complain that his room was haunted. He and his wife had checked in Friday night and were very pleased with their room. Upon waking up in the early hours, however, they discovered this ghostly, skeletal handprint on their headboard. The desk employee apologized and moved their room, then went to see for herself what had scared the couple so badly. This is the picture she took and texted to me. I have no explanation for it.

One of the things that was really easy to do, was to pop into the AutoVerify trunks by accessing the trunks with that "Class mark". You couldn't just dial an 800 number that terminates into Washington DC, but you also had to pop over to a trunk class marked for what they call "Auto-Verification". This is used when a phone user has to reach someone and the line is busy. The operator selects a special trunk, class marked for this service, and dials either the last 5 digits of the phone number, or a special ttc code like 052, and followed by the whole 7 digit number. After that, the operator hears scrambled conversation on the line. The parties talking hear nothing, not even a click.

Next, the operator "Flashes forward" by causing the equipment to send a burst of 2600 Hz, which makes a 3 way connection, and places a beep tone on the line so that both parties originally on the line can hear the initial click (flash, in this case), followed by a high pitched beep. At this point, the parties can her you, and you can hear them. Usually, the operator an Our first problem was to extract what exchange this number terminated in, because AutoVerify wouldn't know about 800 numbers. Then, all 800 numbers had a one-to-one relation between prefix and area code. For instance, 800-424 ----> 202-xxx, where xxx was the 3 digit exchange which was determined by the last 4 digits. In this case, 800-424-9337 800-424-9337 mapped to 202-227-9337 202-227-9337 . The 227 (which could be wrong) was a special White house prefix used for faxes, telex's and in this case, the CIA Crisis line.

Next we got into the class marked trunk (Which had a different sounding chirp, when seized). and MF'ed KP-054-227-9337-ST into this special class marked trunk. Immediately we heard the connection tone and put it up on the speaker so we would know when a call came in.

Several hours later, a call did come in, and it did appear to have CIA related talk, and a code name of Olympus was used to summon the President. I had been downstairs that time, hanging out with friends when I learned what was going on. I rush upstairs just in time to hear the tail end of the conversation as I entered the room.

We had the code word that would summon Nixon to the phone. Almost immediately, another person was starting the process of dialing the number. I stopped them just in time and recommended that they stack at least 4 tandems before looping the call to the White house. Sure enough, the man at the other end said "9337", my other friend said "Olympus please!", the man at the other end said "One moment sir!"... About a minute later, a man that sounded remarkably like Nixon said "What's going on?". My friend said "We have a crisis here in Los Angeles!", Nixon said "What's the nature of the crisis?", My friend said in a serious tone of voice "We're out of toilet paper sir!". Nixon said "WHO IS THIS?" My friend then hung up. Never did learn what happened to that tape, but I think this was one of the funniest pranks, and I don't think that Woz would even come close to this one. I think he was jealous for a long time.
To the best of my recollection, this was about 4 months before Nixon resigned because of the Watergate crisis.

Since the advent of email and other electronic communication, the postal service has seen a steady decline in its use. More than 43 billion fewer pieces of mail are sent now than they were five years ago. First-class mail has dropped 25 percent, and the transmission of stamped letters is down 36 percent over that time frame. The postage purchased to send first-class mail is a primary source of revenue for the USPS.

The American Postal Workers Union blasted the move.
“The Postal Service should be urging Congress to address the cause of its problems – not slashing service and demolishing its network," union president Cliff Guffey said.
And lawmakers responded to the announcement by repeating their calls for legislative action to help shore up those ailing finances.
"Congress and the administration must act quickly to help the Postal Service save itself," Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.) said. "Failure to act will result in the Postal Service being insolvent within a year, if not sooner, bringing more pain to communities across the country and wreaking havoc on our already fragile economy."
House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said it was time for Congress to allow the USPS to act "more like a true business."
"Congress must enact decisive and comprehensive postal reform," he said.
The USPS is expected to hit its $15 billion borrowing limit by the end of September and has indicated it would not be able to make a $5.5 billion payment due at that time. As the USPS seeks to delay that payment until the end of the year, those struggles are driving concerns that the agency could default.

This photo was taken by a security guard at the TV station where I work. There has been rumors of a ghost for some time. He said he took this photo & a lot of other photos & this was in one frame. There was nothing visible to the naked eye. There's a door that people have reported hearing banging on, which is next to here. This exact spot where the photo was taken is the spot in which, one night I walked around the whole building opening up to see what energies I could feel, & in this exact spot, before I ever saw this photo, I felt an immense energy so strong & negative that I actually ran out of the area. Before the TV station the area used to be a church, which was burned to the ground by arson. Could this be a ghost from then, or is this some kind of elemental entity, possibly responsible for the fire itself?

ENTIRE flocks of wild galahs, cockatoos and corellas are learning to talk.

The wild birds are being taught by pet birds that have escaped or been released by their owners and joined the flocks.
"We have had people call us thinking they are going mad or had something put into their drink because they've gone out to look at the flock of birds in their backyard and all the birds have been saying something like: 'Who's a pretty boy then'?" the Australian Museum's naturalist, Martyn Robinson, said yesterday.

Mr Robinson said Sydney was home to large numbers of galahs, sulphur-crested cockatoos and corellas that had fled New South Wales' far west during the decade-long drought.

"They've decided to stay and even begun to breed in the city, and if a pet bird of their species escapes their cage or is released because their owner's moving or whatever, they naturally join the wild flocks," he said.

"These birds are very smart birds and very social and communication and contact is important between them.

"So the pet bird begins to say things it's been taught by its owner and the rest of the flock learns and starts speaking too, to mimic the pet bird," Mr Robinson said.

"I just hope a pet that's been taught dirty words doesn't join a flock."

Mr Robinson said all three species were noted for their ability to learn behaviour rather than rely on innate traits.

He said the wild birds decided to stay in Sydney - a sort of avian seachange - because it provided a fantastic habitat.

Adam Hall, 34, a reputed sergeant-at-arms at the Berkshire Hells Angels motorcycle club was charged with three counts of murder, kidnapping and intimidation of a witness, said Berkshire County District Attorney David Capeless.
David Chalue, 44, and Caius Veiovis, 31, also have been charged with murder, kidnapping, and intimidation of a witness in the triple murder, Capeless said.
Capeless announced the charges a day after a two-week search for three Pittsfield, Mass., men who had disappeared under suspicious circumstances ended with the recovery of their bodies in the western part of the state.
Capeless did not disclose where authorities found the bodies of David Glasser, 44, Edward Frampton, 58, and Robert Chadwell, 47, or how prosecutors believe the men were killed. They disappeared on August 28.
However, Detectives had earlier been spotted searching the grounds of the Pittsfield State Forest.
Baseball batGlasser was a key witness set to testify against Hall at a trial on assault, robbery and kidnapping charges scheduled to begin on September 19. Frampton was Glasser's roommate and Chadwell a friend who spent time with the two men, authorities said.

The mystery surrounding the crash of Air France flight 447 in June 2009 deepened today when a preliminary report from air crash investigators revealed a double failure of the plane's speed sensors - critical for fly-by-wire computer-assisted flight - followed by the flight crew inexplicably failing to maintain airspeed and deal with the stall that resulted.
The BEA says the plane hit turbulence at cruise altitude and then suffered temporary failures of two speed sensors - possibly due to high altitude icing. Because this meant an agreed speed reading could not be calculated - and speed is critical for maintaining aerodynamic lift - the flight computer switched off the autopilot and handed control to the pilots.
The nonflying pilot was heard confirming this disengagement had happened on the cockpit voice recorder saying: "so, we've lost the speeds," and then "alternate law". Fly-by-wire flight, where the plane is kept straight and level and at a safe lift-producing speed by a computer program (which has four backups) is managing flight in what is called "normal law". This also ensures the plane can only bite into the airflow at a low, lift-producing "angle of attack".
When the pilots are in charge the plane is said to be obeying "alternate law" - but here the angle of attack is not computer managed.
As control was handed over the stall warning sounded, yet the pilot flying the plane decided to climb. A stall usually requires the nose to be dipped downward to gain airspeed and regain the missing lift. Yet AF447 climbed inexorably to its ceiling of 38,000 feet at a very high angle of attack of more than 35 degrees. With the stall warning sounding, the nose remained tipped upward. The plane stalled, losing altitude at 11,000 feet per minute. It fell for 3 minutes 30 seconds when it hit the water nose up 16-degrees and belly first - just as the BEA had predicted from their analysis of floating wreckage.
This is the second time in recent memory that a flight has suffered from a nose up situation in a stall. Colgan Air lost an aircraft near Buffalo, New York, in February 2009 when drag caused by thick icing slowed a commuter flight so much it stalled. The pilot in that case also adopted a nose up attitude. It is not what pilots are trained to do.
Contributors to the online Professional Pilot's Rumour Network - Pprune - are astonished that the AF447 pilots maintained a nose-up attitude. You can read their comments on (and either side of) this thread page. Some wonder if cockpits are being over-computerised leaving pilots baffled when it comes to manual flight in an emergency.
Others are worried about crew workload, coping with a blizzard of alarms in a thunderstorm in the dead of night. Mostly, they are so surprised the pilot kept the nose up in a stall - and for so long - that they think there has to be more to it: did other instruments fail?

The same person sent me a photo that shows Palestinians celebrating the collapse of the World Trade Center on Sept. 11. 2001 next to photos of Americans celebrating the death of Osama bin Laden and asks, "What's the difference?"

I have to say that there is a monumental difference. Those Palestinians were rejoicing in the deaths of thousands of people whose only crime was showing up for work on a Tuesday morning. The Americans were celebrating the death of a man responsible for the attack on the World Trade Center and several other mass murders, a man who would have gone on to murder as many more people as he possibly could had he not been killed.

(And yes, lots of the Palestinians in those photos from ten years ago were little kids who didn't have any real idea what they were cheering about. I do not consider those photos to be in any way representative of most Palestinians, and certainly not of the Palestinians I met and befriended last year in Jerusalem or of Arabic people in general.)

There seem to be two permissible responses to the death of bin Laden. One is to hoot and holler like it's some kind of game your team just won. The other is to sit around and write thoughtful essays about how the celebrations speak to the violent nature of blah-blah-blah....

I don't find either response particularly useful. Yeah, I know, maybe he'll be seen as a martyr now. So what? And yes, terrorism and the conflicts between the West and the Arab world will not end with his death. I don't think even those revelers in Times Square with their big-ass flags imagine it will. And yes, violence is not good. But sometimes there really is not any other way to deal with certain problems. And this was one of those times.

I think some of the revelry is stupid. But it's to be expected.

I, like many people, witnessed a great thing yesterday. I lent special attention to what our new president had to say as this was President Obama's opportunity to let us know what his goals will be.

In my opinion, if we are to have an economic recovery, some new innovation will have to be well accepted into commerce and the lives of everyday people. The dot com craze didn't happen because everyone had a new web site. It happened because home computing become as accepted as television, making it possible to deliver web content to nearly every home.

So, I was overjoyed to hear that President Obama plans to make alternative energy a centerpiece of his economic recovery plan. If the government puts its full force and weight behind new alternative energy technologies, the price to produce electricity through solar and wind will be dramatically reduced. If the price is reduced, solar panels on roofs of houses will be as common as chimneys. That transformation may be our way out of this recession. Plus, it'll be a boom that will last, instead of busting. Imagine the economic benefit of reducing people's home energy costs by half or more.

Think about it and let me know what your thoughts are.

A Retelling of an Ancient Middle Eastern Tale of Two Enemy Countries

Once long ago in the vast lands of the desert there was a great and vast river that had to be crossed for animals to seek food and water elsewhere in the desert. As it was on this day Fox had come to the point where it had to cross the river in its travels. As it stood contemplating the best way to cross the river safely Fox's life long enemy Scorpion came upon it and began to talk to Fox.

"Fox as I was walking along the river bank looking for food I noticed a particularily easy place to cross the river where the water is not so deep and not so swift. As it is I would like to cross over myself also but as I am so small it would be impossible. Would you be willing to take me across if I show you this place to cross the river?" asked Scorpion.

Amendment VII

Amendment VIII

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

I am writing this letter for my fiancée Kamlesh Kaur and her minor children Poonam, Parveen and Gagandeep.

US Citizen. My case # NWD2008783002.

My fiancée is Kamlesh Kaur who I love for more than two years and her three children Poonam Parveen and Gangadeep . On or about December 2008 the USCIS office, cleared and approved my fiancé petition sent to New Hampshire office with case umber

and gave me and Kamlesh Kaur and her three children an interview date on January 27 2009.

I appeared at the window of an officer who asked me to take an oath, which I did then the officer called me a liar yelled at me and threaten me. I told him my love for Kamlesh was real and my relationship was genuine I brought proof and the officer refused to look at the photo's and letters and cards.

I was not aware that the officer could do my thinking for me and I do not believe it is his business to make personal opinions of an American man who wants to marry an Indian woman that is my business. This relationship is real and honest, and continues. Love knows no color no race we (Kamlesh and I understand each other and accept each other cultures)

I thought one was innocent to proven guilty?

This is why people come to America for the freedom to choose and I have chosen this woman to be my wife and help raise her three children and to give them a better future.

The officer told me he wanted more documents and gave us one year to collect which we collected and documents were filed and accepted in good faith with fees paid to the VFS office. Then for more than three months I wait in pain and I sent many emails to Embassy to get status of my case.

The answer was always the same "Pending Administration processing under 221(g). I contacted our congresswomen Ms. Woolsey and provided her office all the proof of my genuine relationship and their office contact the Embassy

Now I am told that the case is closed and is sent back to the USCIS office for review due to an expired fiancé petition. This is a very important document why did your office fail to tell us this after the fact and the officer, who threatened me but did not advise me that this document was going to expire soon so we could have renewed that petition.

To me it appears that the staff at US Embassy is indifferent to the plights of US citizens and careless as to US Citizen's rights under the Constitution were it is says "Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness" for all people foreign and domestic, even though these officers took an oath to uphold the Constitution. All I am asking you at this time is to give me the actual reasons for denial and not the vague allegation, which is not even true.

For Kamlesh and her children's future will be the best with me .I have lost a lot of time at your office I have seen others get visa's with the same facts as me why are you being hard on me Kamlesh and the children ? Or is this selective discrimination?

Ours is a genuine case and I am planning to marry her and file new petition Hope you understand my situation, please let me know ASAP.
